The Helotes Area Community Band started playing in 2008 with seven members and has grown to over 50.  We play all kinds of music depending on the venue from children's songs to complex classical arrangements.

The band is composed of musicians of all ages and abilities ranging from high school students to retired professionals. We welcome new members from Helotes and surrounding towns who would like to enjoy playing great music with others and are not afraid of a little hard work and dedication.

We play at least three major concerts each year as well as movie nights in the summer and various special events.  

Feel free to visit and observe one of our rehearsals at the First Baptist Church of Helotes on Monday nights at 6:30.
